Land in San Jose

After a hop skip and a jump we landed on time in San Jose Costa Rica at 10pm on Thursday night. We then took an official taxi to our Best Western 15 min away. We threw our bags in the room and were off to look for Mel´s friend Todd who is the founder of www.GoVisitCostaRica.com. He was in the casino! Some beers later and a bit of local karoke the parents were off to bed, and we got some more Costa Rica traveling details from Todd before calling it a night.

Friday morning Randy & Vicki woke to Mel steam rolling them at 6am, ready to get the rental car (almost didn´t fit our luggage and 4 adults!!), a quick bite of rice and beans at the local Denny´s and we were on our way to La Fortuna.
